We'll send you an order form to specify the number of boards and how you want them configured. This will produce a quote, and allow us confirm that the information we need to build and configure the boards is complete.
Some Considerations ...
CT Selection: Plan ahead how you want to wire and organize the circuits you want to monitor. Once programmed, it requires a new board if you change which circuit goes where on the unit. Previously recorded data has to be moved to match the new order as well.
CT Naming: Plan to name each circuit with clear and unambiguous names so that it's easy to identify each circuit. Naming CAN be re-done at any time; just notify us.
RV-Sites / Marinas: Stay with 50A CTs to allow flexibility of changes to future wiring and upgrades such as 120V to 240V sites. Existing sites 120V / 30A circuits should stay with 30A CTs.
Network Connection: We recommend a wired connection via CAT5/6 to your Internet service for highest speed and reliability. The load on the internet is negligible; one call per hour with a very small upload. If you are constrained due to the difficulty reaching the wired network, wireless is a viable option, but is slower and less reliable.
